19th century brass lens with focus wheel.
Circa 1870/1880.
French lens.
Length approx. 15 cm.
The slit in the body of the lens is for inserting diaphragms of different apertures (known as a ‘valve diaphragm’ system).
Diaphragms are missing, but can easily be found online.
Very good optical and external condition.
